Keep in mind this restaurant is in downtown Fredericksburg were parking is horrible and it's also the home of overpriced under whelming food for tourists in the area. 12-15-25 11 AM Last time we were here was right after they opened and the food wasn't very good. We had a $25.00 e-gift card and this was the only reason we returned. Our initial greeting upon checking in was we have a 90 minute dining limit. We have lived in 6 different states and two foreign countries and never been told we have a set time to eat and leave. That is enough to keep anyone from returning, including us. *The wife and I had an appetizer then ordered our simple lunch. We had 20 minutes to spare when we settled the tab. No alcohol. The staff were attentive and the restaurant was clean. The Christmas music was a little loud but the incoming lunch crowd drowned that out quickly. The wife's crab flatbread and Cuban sandwich were both good. As was my Tai wings and cheeseburger/fries. Very expensive, but good. $70.22 for lunch. $45.22 after the gift card. We can get two nice steak dinners for that in Central Park. Last visit here. *Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. We don't care about your allergies, vibes, how "chill" you feel, or the need for gluten free food. **If you see a Google review posted with just stars & no text, report it via the 3 dot selection adjacent to the review. If the text in the review doesn't describe the food/service report it. This cleans up Google reviews and removes the slugs just trying to get reviewer points by marking a star or "paid" reviewers. Process: Select - Report review. Select- Not helpful at the bottom of the drop down menu. If the review doesn’t help people decide whether to utilize this business or go to this place it's worthless.
My girlfriend and I decided to go to Sedona for brunch to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect choice. First and foremost, the holiday décor was absolutely stunning. They did a phenomenal job creating such a magical atmosphere—I honestly wish they could keep the decorations up all year 🤣. While waiting for our table, we grabbed seats at the bar and ordered cocktails. I had the prickly pear margarita, and she ordered a cider sour. Both were fantastic, though I wish the bar had mentioned the holiday cocktail menu earlier. I didn’t learn about the festive drinks until we were seated and our server, Lindsay, walked us through the winter specials. The “Sweater Weather” cocktail sounded amazing (white tequila and coconut milk 🤤) and is definitely something I’ll be back to try. We stuck with our go-to appetizer, the goat cheese bruschetta, which was delicious as always. For entrées, we went classic brunch: the hangover burger and the shrimp and grits. My girlfriend loved her burger, and Sedona’s shrimp and grits remain one of my absolute favorites—perfectly seasoned and cooked. Even though we were full, we couldn’t pass up the seasonal dessert, tiramisu. It was the perfect size—just enough to share without pushing us over the edge. Lol. Another successful meal at Sedona! The service is consistently top-notch, and our server Lindsay was hands down the best—knowledgeable, attentive, and with an amazing personality. We loved her so much, we wished she could’ve joined us for brunch. The manager also stopped by a couple of times to check on us, which we really appreciated. If you haven’t experienced Sedona yet, you are seriously missing out. And definitely ask to sit in Lindsay’s section!
We really enjoyed our time! The Christmas lights and décor were stunning, busy and bright, but full of holiday spirit. The staff were warm and attentive, and we loved the drinks and starters. The mains didn’t wow us as much (dry chicken and an over-seasoned shrimp/lobster dish), but overall we still had a good experience.
We have eaten here a few times but tonight was perfect. My husband and I wanted to come for our NYE dinner. We made a 9:15pm reservation. We arrived 8:15pm to check in. We were seated at 8:35pm. Our waiter. Aaron was on point! Great smile, friendly, didn't let my husbands drink run out(which is a tip killer for him). The appetizers and food we ordered was delicious and so was the white sangria! The festive holiday atmosphere was wonderful. We finished eating around 9:15pm (our reservation time) . We couldn't have asked for a more perfect night.
I had a wonderful experience at Sedona Taphouse. The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered hit the mark. Great atmosphere and overall a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
