Overall the food was delicious, fresh, and worth the price! The restaurant gives bread, with an oil/balsamic vinegar dip, both were great, my husband and I loved the dip so much we dipped our pizza crust in there as well. We started with the fried mozzarella ($14) super good, crust stayed crunchy throughout the entire dinner, we ordered the “Roma Pizza” ($28) it was delicious, super hot and fresh flavors were phenomenal, and a different type of pizza than your average pizza. We added house salads for $2 each, which came already dressed in their Italian vinaigrette dressing which was delicious, great flavor and not over dressed. We ended with their cannoli dessert and it was delicious as well, not too sweet, however I will add this was my first time trying a cannoli so I had nothing to compare it to. I would definitely come back to try more pizzas! My unsweetened tea, was freshly brewed as well, I give 4 stars on Atmosphere because it was a little humid/muggy/warm in the dining area where we were. Waiter was attentive and kind. Our sub total was $71. Overall great experience, we would return.
We've been to Gabriella's before but I can't recall going during lunch. The wife and I were craving Italian and we wanted to take a drive to the island. We hadn't been here in a while so we thought we'd check in to see how they were holding up to the other Italian restaurants. I got to say we were not disappointed. As a rule we try and stay away from ordering appetizers so that we don't ruin our meal but we both skipped breakfast and it was a late lunch so we were hungry. We asked for a recommendation and order the italian nachos but didn't realize how huge it was going to be. This mountain of food could have fed four people easily. So the wife and I decided to stop at Midway point to wait for our meal. We had scoped out the menu to see what we would like and we were hoping to get something a variety. So we ordered their tour of Italy with a side of their garlic mashed potatoes. If you notice it resembles the colors of the flag which included chicken pesto chicken alfredo and lasagna. This entree. The description says that two people can eat out of this easily but I'm almost certain that it will feed three. If you notice we didn't make a dent in our food at all. I think we walked out of there with three to go boxes. I got to say that the food was absolutely fantastic today. I have seen some other reviews where they tend to be hit and miss with their pizza but today they were on point. Something that is noteworthy, the place was almost empty when we got there. First thing we asked ourselves was why don't they have any business. I guess it was just a slow day and we were meant to have the place all to ourselves. It didn't make a difference on the service because they were very welcoming and attentive. Service was great and we have absolutely no complaints on this visit. We will definitely be back. We've added some before and after pics, you can tell we did not make a dent and these pictures do not do the entrees justice
Best Italian on SPI in my opinion! This is my second visit to the restaurant, and was just as good as I remembered from my first visit 7 years ago. Food is excellent. Service is great. Atmosphere is very cool. Started with calamari for an appetizer, then "the Sicilian" pizza. Both were super tasty. Everyone I was dining with enjoyed their selections as well. We finished off the meal with tiramisu and cannoli to share with the whole table. 10/10, highly recommend!
Nice pizza hub in the island. Calzone was very good and the sauce on the side was A+. Shrimp Alfredo lack a bit on the shrimp side. Not much flavor there. Pasta was good and tasty. The banana bread chesscake put the cherry on top to finish the night. The place is a bit dark to my liking but not bad.
So incredibly disappointed. I ordered take out for four. I arrived 10 minutes after I ordered and my order was already bagged, not fresh at all. Kids buttered noodles were so small I would have barely been able to feed my toddler. I asked if they would add noodles to the small container and they said they could add another kids pasta for $11. $11 for a quarter cup, wow. We finally agreed to fill the container for $4. I then asked for their coupon special of a free dessert. Manager said it's dine in only. Coupon did not specify dine in only. I said he was being inflexible and he said I was the one being inflexible. Huh? He was happy to forgo our $80 bill over honoring the free cake coupon. Nice management skills. A slice of cake costs about a dollar, max. Once home we found our $24 Manicotti was barely enough for a child. Again, so incredibly disappointed! Will not be back and we are a large group that comes annually. Your loss, Russo's gain.
