My husband and I both ordered the 18 oz ribeye steak, and it was cooked just right. Tender, flavorful, and very filling. It really hit the spot. My stepdaughter went with the beef hot dog and fries, and she loved it. We started with the fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were so good. Crispy, tangy, and perfect for sharing. I tried the Midnight Sour cocktail, which was a little strong, but still really good once you got used to it. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, the food, portions, and service made this a really enjoyable lunch. Definitely a spot we would come back to.
It's a party of 7; we were there last Sunday, and it was packed. Not too long a wait, and we just got on the list when we arrived. It was quite festive, as always. My only regret is not wearing my cowboy hat and boots. The service was friendly but not too friendly, I say. I like that the manager came by to check on us. I want that endless barrel of peanut to come back which they removed during Covid… it will be nice if they bring it back. I go here because of the country atmosphere and their fresh, warm-to-die-for bread. I used to like most of their entrees, but now it's getting more and more salty, it's like eating salt like the one I had was the herb chicken, oh my, the rice was so salty and all. I will try something else next time. On the way out, regardless of how busy they are, they should thank exiting guests. I was also waiting for the line dance, but it didn't happen. We were celebrating my hubby's birthday, but the host did not engage with us. It would have been nice if she had asked or the server about anything special going on. I ordered water, which I always do, and the server was persistent with me about getting other drinks. I know it's up-selling, but if I said no on her first offer, that should be enough for her to stop. Regardless, we are all coming back; we all love Texas Roafhouse and want them to exist forever…
