The pork was tender and paired well with the gigli pasta. The sauce smelled good and tasted nice too. I asked for a beer recommendation, and they suggested one that fit my taste, which made the meal more comfortable. When I visited, I was the only one dining alone, but sitting at the bar still felt relaxed and easy.
This place was such a treat. My only regret is not coming back to try more dishes as I told myself I would! My friend and I enjoyed sitting by the kitchen and watching the skill and efficiency of the staff there. I’m writing this review a little bit late so can’t remember the names of the dishes I got but they were all excellent. The ingredients were all homey and the flavors were masterful. Our waiter was personable, a tad forgetful but it was a busy night so can’t blame him. I still have to come back for sure!
