Thanksgiving at BoomerJack’s — A Texas Home Away From Home If you ever want to know what real Texas hospitality feels like, spend a Thanksgiving at BoomerJack’s in Arlington. This was my first Thanksgiving away from my family in 34 years, and somehow… these folks made it better than any Thanksgiving I’ve ever had. The people, the staff, the atmosphere, the literal love and compassion they poured into every moment — that’s the kind of thing you can’t fake. That’s Texas. As a New York born, newly minted Texas transplant, I walked in feeling out of place, and walked out feeling like I’d been part of their family my whole life. BoomerJack’s doesn’t just serve great food — they serve belonging. They made a day that could’ve been lonely feel meaningful, warm, and unforgettable. I’ll never forget the way everyone treated each other, strangers laughing together like old friends. It felt like the entire building agreed we were all in this life thing together. And listen… to the bartender who said, “Cowboys can’t win twice in one week.” I told you they’d win because I was here 😏😂 Sure enough — they won, and now I’m officially a lifelong, loyal Dallas fanatic. Blame BoomerJack’s. They converted me. To everyone at BoomerJack’s Arlington: thank you for giving a guy far from home a place that felt like home. You made Thanksgiving something I’ll never forget. And after 3 days straight of BoomersMeals plus the vibe here, you may have a new applicant for employment. 😏🤭 Texas, you’ve got my heart for real. 🤠💙

The first waiter was rude as hell and had an attitude did not give the table water until I asked for it. The next waiter started out good and was attentive and good until we got our bills then it came a problem because we do not need to read the receipts at all the manger is trying to except explain it but it does not make sense at all. I had to send my mozzarella sticks back because they had been sitting too long. The taller glass means double and more money than expected.

If I could give a zero star I would! I ordered a 30 piece wings to go! I asked for them to be well done just for me to get home and see that my wings were under cooked had so much feathers on them I couldn’t eat them and they weren’t tossed in the sauce! I called to speak to the manager named Aaron he was very nonchalant and didn’t care about the complaint he said I had to bring the order back after driving 20 min home! He said he couldn’t do anything unless I bring it back! I then drove back 20 min to return the order! Upon arriving he wasn’t apologetic not once all he said was you had to bring it back because people lie about their order which also means this is a common issue he wasn’t surprised at all ! Then he just refunded my money and walked off! I will NEVER EVER recommend this place and I don’t know how this person can be a manager of a whole restaurant!!
