BEST AFTER PARTY EVER! When we decided to get married in Woodstock, we knew there was no better place to host the ultimate after party than at the historic Colony Woodstock... and it absolutely lived up to the hype! From the moment we reached out, Laura was incredible to work with. She was so patient and understanding as we finalized details, held the space for us without pressure, and guided us through every step with compassion and professionalism. Once we decided to move forward, the planning process was seamless - exactly what you need when you’re juggling a big wedding! The entire team at Colony was collaborative and flexible, especially as our guest list grew from a modest 30 to over 50 people. From the most delicious late-night bites to perfectly coordinating with our DJ, everything came together effortlessly. The space created the perfect after party vibe, intimate yet larger than life. I truly can’t thank Laura and the Colony team enough for helping us celebrate one of the best nights of our lives in such an iconic, magical way!

Super fun venue with inside bar, tables and stage, plus a kitchen and best of all, an outdoor bar and stage with garden seating. Drinks were well mixed by a friendly server. Great to see live music in an informal setting. Could improve the end of the night instructions- it was unclear if the place was staying open, and although we were served another drink, it felt like we were not overly welcome to stay.

I have lived in the area for decades and l love live music but have never been to Colony. On a Friday in April a friend’s boyfriend’s band (Hilltop) was playing there so we went. The second band was The Niche. It was as good as I hoped. Walking in there was only one person sitting at the bar. We ordered drinks and walked around checking out the venue. My wife and I had Tequila Cosmos with Espolon tequila. The bartender was great. Kept our tab open for our group and remembered what we were drinking. It’s a really cool looking place. Having a balcony running around the full room with a high ceiling gives it a larger feel than it is. Upstairs in the front is a room with a pool table. During the second band a few of our group took turns playing pool while others sat in the balcony. In the back there are lots of picnic tables and a stage. I want to go and see a band out there. During the night our group ordered fried shrimp and a couple of orders of french fries to snack on. We also hung out outside in the back after the second band ended. It’s nice to be able to take your drink and get some fresh air. Both bands were great and they knew each other playing the same type of music. I’m used to bands playing covers which these bands didn’t. Long jams with good musicians. I can’t wait to go back again.
