First time eating here. And it was wise choice. Met a couple at the entrance that said they eat here Every Sunday! Once inside it was apparent why. Every one was so happy and conversing at each table. As the orders arrived all around us , you could see the pleasure and anticipation on their faces. We saw several dishes that made it easy to make our menu selections. Our waitress guided us to spectacular choices. Started with chips and hot sauce. 7 layer dip appetizer was mouthwatering Veggie Quesadillas as main course Chicken Quesadillas too. Chicken Fried Steak with French fries and a side salad was exceptional. One anomaly is they don’t have mashed potatoes!!! Weird They do offer a baked potato. Our waitress was so caring, knowledgeable, and talented. The atmosphere and vibe is everything you could hope for in a restaurant like this. One guy next to us eats here several times a week. Next visit will include one of their famous club sandwiches and a classic burger. It’s located just off Highway 75 on Texoma Parkway I recommend you add this to your Must Try Soon list I guarantee you will love it and return quickly See you there!
1st time at City Limits w/ the Mrs and it was the afterwords, dinner crowd on a Thursday. Parking lot was almost full as we grabbed on of the last spots. The bar is wooded rustic and brick, giving it a Northern Dive Bar feel - but the atmosphere was friendly and straight forward. We opted for shisk-a-bob and a chicken fried steak. Both were generous and simply made well - with a small side salad. Next time its burgers, as the 1/2 lb giants looked great (and at around $12, with fries - I would be hard pressed to get BK, McD, or the Redheads for the same dough. The best part was our waitress, Maddie- who was SO good and efficient!
The food was good. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The queso and the chili were excellent! The chicken fried steak was really good. My only regret is not trying the hickory burger. Definitely would eat here again.
This place is clearly very popular. It was extremely busy when we visited. My burger was very good, in a classic way. And you also can't best the cost. The restaurant is very home-y and no-frills, in a good way. Great low key restaurant to check out.
I stopped by for lunch. It was a Thursday around 1230pm. The place was packed. I was greeted immediately. There was a short wait for a table. The server was cute as a button and very sweet. I ordered a( ham&swiss) sandwich. It comes cold or hot. She suggested hot, and that was the right choice. It was perfectly cooked, It came with fries. They were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The prices are reasonable for the portion size. It is very casual and they serve meals on paper plates. I would recommend stopping by for lunch if you are in the area.
