We got the shrimp ceviche that was a special of the day and it had an interesting fusion sauce, with Asian notes to it. The sopecitos were outstanding. I thought the carne asada lacked flavor a bit. But the tortillas were some of the best I have had. The flautas were disappointing. The entire filling was super crispy and over fried so there was no texture contrasts in the dish.
We had brunch on a Sunday and it was great. We had reservations, but it wasn't too busy at about noon. Here are the positives: the service was really wonderful - perfect mix of attentive and leave you alone; the table hot sauces are FANTASTIC; the guacamole was really delicious and the pan frances (french toast) was phenomenal. Okay, I don't really have negatives...but the other dishes were just good (nothing spectacular). The fish tacos and albondigas were tasty, but not standouts. Overall a lovely brunch, but I definitely want to return for dinner.
